"In 2018, Hashnate embarked on its journey from a modest space in Kirulapone, Colombo, with a passionate team of six developers and a marketing manager. Our early work focused on building powerful ERP systems for manufacturing firms and technologies for the metal crusher industry. With tools like PHP, MySQL, Java, Python, and Ionic, we engineered solutions that powered businesses such as Prima Metal Crushers. That humble beginning laid the cornerstone for our technology-first, impact-driven approach."

Ilham Safeek is a seasoned Software Architect, entrepreneur, and educator with a strong track record in delivering enterprise-grade software solutions. As the Founder and Chief Architect of Hashnate Software Engineering, Ilham has led the development of scalable systems in ERP, CRM, and IoT, serving clients in Sri Lanka, the Middle East, Europe, and the United States.
Expanding his vision beyond borders, Ilham co-founded Informake Software Solutions in Oman, where he plays a strategic role in driving digital adoption for businesses through customized software, sales consulting, and ERP implementations — powered by Hashnate’s technical expertise.
In parallel with his entrepreneurial journey, Ilham lectures at several leading universities and institutions including the South Eastern University of Sri Lanka, IDM Nations Campus (affiliated with the University of Gloucestershire), and Winsys City Campus, covering subjects like secure coding, advanced database systems, and software engineering.
Passionate about building future-ready tech talent, Ilham mentors interns and junior developers while offering corporate training and IT consulting. His leadership combines technical excellence, timely project delivery, and a commitment to innovation that fuels Hashnate’s and Informake’s growth across regions.
